Flip-up cover
The flip-up cover with plastic frame that clips over the visor mirror(s) is held in by 5 tabs. Especially in sunny area with age the plastic gets brittle and breaks. The part numbers are below. The price for the cover is ~45 EUR. The mirror is a separate part. Make sure to add the 4 digit color code to the part number (7G16 for alpaca gray color).

Chinese clone
On Aliexpress it is possible to purchase a Chinese version for ~15 USD. The product is of good quality, the only difference is that it is fully plastic (there is no soft fabric layer).
It might also happen that the leg that pulls microswitch (to light up the vanity light) has to be extended to reach the microswitch.
Microswitch
Though the sun visor hinge the ground connection for the vanity mirror light is provided.
The ground is connected when the flip-up cover lid is open and thereby the microswitch (part no. A2118700510) gets pressed.
Fixing sagging sun visor
Problem: sunvisor has lost the "detent" notch when returning it from the down position back up to the raised position. As the visor is pushed towards the car ceiling/roof, it goes all the way up, but then it slightly flops down about 1/2 to 3/4" away from the normal position.
Fix: Somehow, presumably with wear, the position or clocking of the detent moves from the original position. Only by a couple of degrees. Remove the visor, put a couple of washers under the mounting point farthest from the windshield. This puts a slight angle on the mounting point and allows the detent to catch (see video below).
