COMAND without Satellite Radio unit installed. Shows "No Satellite Radio" message.

If you do not have the factory SAT antenna in the center of your trunk lid, you do not have the installed SAT radio option, even though your COMAND has the SAT button. Vehicle might be pre-wired for SAT radio but need the SAT radio kit added to enable.

The factory SAT radio add kits are no longer available. [CarTronics.com] has an aftermarket kit almost identical to the factory kit except the factory trunk lid antenna.
