If you do not have the factory SAT antenna in the center of your trunk lid, you do not have the installed SAT radio option, even though your COMAND has the SAT button. You nee SAT radio kit added to enable. The factory SAT radio retrofit kits are no longer available. CarTronics has an aftermarket kit almost identical to the factory kit except the factory trunk lid antenna.
