Description
The W220 S Class employs two electrostatic dust and pollen air filters as distinct from the Activated Charcoal Filter (ACF) which uses smog sensing automatic re-circulation of filtered cabin air.
Location
- LHD vehicle inside the right (passenger) instrument panel.
- RHD vehicle inside the left (passenger)instrument panel.
Issues
- The Cabin Ventilation Dust Filters remove most of the dust from the air entering the vehicle via the ACC inlet port and eventually become clogged.
- The Cabin Ventilation Dust Filter requires regular servicing.
