Locked Fuel Filler Cover

If your Pneumatic System Equipment (PSE) Pump has failed or been switched off then the Fuel Filler Cover will remain locked thus preventing addition of fuel.

Thanks to BenzWorld Member 'Bullethead_D' there is a manual way to open the fuel filler cover.

  • Remove the right side trunk liner and then pull on the fuel filler grasp.
  • Note you have to be a bit brutal with the boot lining to get it out and then with a bit of searching, sure enough, it's there! One quick pull and it's open.
