Option codes

Mercedes-Benz cars manufactured before 2010 came with a Vehicle Data (Fahrzeugdaten) Card when they were delivered to their first owners. Mercedes-Benz cars manufactured after 2010 do not have a Vehicle Data Card and the information on included options is only available via M-B's STAR Diagnostic System.

The Vehicle Data Card is a small card that lists important information such as the options fitted, serial numbers, delivery dates, key codes to cut new keys etc. Usually a copy can be found in your Service Manual (Log Book), Owners Manual or in the Maintenance Booklet (Wartungsheft). Dealer-installed options are not coded on the Vehicle Data Card.

If you do not have your Vehicle Data Card, you may obtain it using your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) through M-B's Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC) or alternatively this online database: http://mbfans.info/EN/mercedes/vin/decoder/WDB2200671A419444
