The Power Windows allow opening and closing of the windows in the front and rear doors.

In the doors there are heavy electrical power components which are covered in Section [[WIS 67.39 Electric Side Windows]].


Two types of actuation are possible:
===Door Control Module===
* Manual opening and closing,
The [[Door Control Module]] (DCM) is part of Section [[WIS 54.21 Control Units/Modules]].
* Automatic one-touch opening and closing feature.


All windows in the front and rear doors can be opened and closed with the remote control key or the lock switches (USA & Japan only) via the [[WIS 80.45 Convenience Feature (CF) / Convenience Locking System|Convenience Feature]].

The Summer Convenience Opening/Closing Feature is in Section [[WIS 80.45 Convenience Feature (CF) / Convenience Locking System]].
When a window button is pressed digital signals are sent via the CAN Bus to the relevant Door Control Module (DCM) which activates the relevant window motor.
